My flights home for Thanksgiving and Christmas are booked.

All my sandals and shorts are packed away.

The gloves and coats have made their first appearance.

And I'm wearing slippers around the house.

Is it spring yet?

Just kidding, mostly.

Fall and winter are great.

You've got your riding boots and chunky scarves.

You've got your holidays, which are mostly about amazing food. 

You've got that first, perfect snowfall.

But wow, I really hate the cold.
