Ruined

Dress: via clothing swap (similar); Tote: Old Navy; Sandals: Sam Edelman; Shades: Ray Ban

Here are a few photos from our weekend jaunt to Charlottesville last month.  We did some winery-hopping and tasted just about every wine in Virginia.  Barboursville is still my favorite.  We were able to do the tasting there (Reserve Chardonnay for the win) and then wander over to the Barboursville Ruins.  And of course, snag a bottle or six to take home.  Not a bad little Saturday.

We spent the rest of the afternoon at Adventure Farm, drinking a bottle and eating a picnic outside.  The space is absolutely gorgeous, with a big pond, rolling hills, and cattle grazing nearby.  Luckily, they sell beef, so we were able to get some steaks that we grilled for dinner that night.  Best steak I've ever eaten, hands down.  I still dream about it.

My other favorite Charlottesville things to eat are bagels at Bodo's, tapas at Mas, and late-night pizza at Christian's.  Basically, go to Charlottesville, drink wine, and eat all of the food.  I'm getting really good at that.
