This weekend took a turn for the epic.  

Somewhere in between the wineries, party bus, and random house party, things got real.

Now I've just got to get through a three-day work week and then I'm headed back up north for some Labor Day beach, family and friend time.

Side note: The VMAs?  Bleh.

I was mostly annoyed, unimpressed, and grossed out.  

And why does MTV keep trying to act like they play music videos?

Every time they showed the nominees for a category, I was seeing the video for the first time because MTV does not play music videos.  And hasn't for a long time.

But JT was great and NSync, well, it's NSync, so it was hilarious and awesome.
