Did everyone have a great Superbowl Weekend?

Friday night, we stayed in, ate pizza, and watched The Dark Knight Rises.  After seeing it in an IMAX theater, watching it on our tv seemed very, very small.

We had a soccer game bright and early on Saturday morning.  And boy was it chilly.  Definitely the coldest game yet, and it was only made better by some completely incompetent refs.  But we won, so I'll keep my complaints to a minimum.

That night we went to Smith Commons for T's going away dinner.  With him gone, we are down to zero Germans!  It was bittersweet because he is going off to do great things, but we're going to miss having him here with us.

Sunday was the laziest of days, due to a hangover (not mine) and chores (mine).  After lots of cleaning, washing, and laundering, we settled in to watch the Superbowl, which was entertaining at least.  None of the commercials were particularly good this year, and I'm not a Beyonce fan (blasphemy!), but I do love a good reunion, so I was all about the Destiny's Child.

After the blackout (Bane? Anonymous? CBS?), things were looking so great for the 49ers!  They put in a great effort and made for an awesome game to watch.  I'm bummed they lost, but being a Pats fan, I've gotten pretty used to watching my team not win in the big game.
