September, seriously?

Although I do love all things back-to-school and fall related, it just feels like summer slipped away.

I spent the weekend in Maine, mostly being a beach bum with my family, drinking vino verde, and playing Bananagrams.

Exciting stuff.

My mom and I did make a pit stop at the Kittery outlets, where I snagged a sick leather jacket for a ridiculous price.  I also stopped by the York beach house that my friends had rented for the weekend and spent some time with them, which is basically all absurd stories and laughter.

And now it's back to the real world, trying to get my life organized.

Anyone else get that feeling in September?
