Happy Columbus Day!  Possibly the worst reason to have a holiday, but apparently raping and pillaging is worth a day off of work.  I'm spending the day cleaning, baking, food shopping, and just catching up on all those things around the house that have been neglected.  

The weekend was super busy.  Friday night we went to the Fall Mount Vernon Wine Festival, where we took these awesome pictures on the lawn as the sun set.  The next morning we woke up bright and early to head to Virgin Mobile Freefest.  Highlights for me were Alabama Shakes (her voice is unreal) and M83, who just rocked out for their whole set.  Sunday was a lazier day, but we still got a lot done.  How was your weekend?
