#NSale Picks
Yes, normally on Wednesdays we wear pink I tell you what I'm reading that week.
This week is obviously a little bit different, but I think it will work out for the best.
I may or may not still be slugging through Blood Meridian.
And you probably don't want to hear about that again.
But the Nordstrom sale happens to be going on right now.
And that means I'll just show you some of my favorites from that instead.
Everybody wins!
Jackets:
I love all the mixing of textures and colors. Adding boucle to leather to tweed to wool - it's a great mix for both style and warmth purposes.
Tops and Dresses:
Cream is one of my favorite colors to wear. It's perfect for fall as it's a transition out of those summer whites, while still feeling light. Great fabrics here too from silk and cashmere to lace.
Mix It Up:
Fall is my favorite season to dress for because there are endless possibilities. You start layering again, there are rich colors, the fabrics are luxurious. It's a great time, so have some fun with it. Rock some tuxedo pants or a buckled boot. Add an unexpected touch like leather trim to your scarf. And do it quick, before you have to hide yourself in a puffy coat to keep out the cold.
That is hilarious to write during the end of the heat wave.

Ahh that first and third jacket are SO my style. This morning I woke up thinking about a gorgeous pink, silk lined boucle jacket I used to have but I had forgotten that it was no longer hanging in my closet. That was a sad moment :(
