Last month, a friend that I studied abroad with (Galway forever!) got married in Atlanta. Despite not knowing anyone else who would be there, DT and I booked the trip. I'm always excited for any excuse to relive my glory days in Ireland. The wedding was amazing and included a Hindu ceremony, a luncheon, a solid break, a Christian ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner (the food was epic - I ate about 6 fried green tomatoes because there was goat cheese underneath the breading), the reception, and an after-party. It was a very long, very fun day and all of it was nothing short of amazing.
I wore a short dress to the Hindu ceremony and luncheon in the morning, and struggled over what to wear for the evening and nighttime activities. Dress code was "Black Tie Optional", so I wanted a long dress just in case everyone else was wearing one. TJ Maxx to the rescue. I saw this dress as soon as I walked in the store, tried it on, fell in love, and that was that. It fit with the theme of the day as it was bright and colorful, but it also was extremely comfortable and I didn't have to worry about adjusting it all night. It's definitely a keeper.
This dress is GORGEOUS, and that sounds like an amazing wedding! What a great TJ Maxx find!

It was the first thing I saw when I walked in - don't you love when that happens?
